The Chalk Elemental is a large, mineral-diet creature classified as a Variant. Taming a Chalk Elemental requires knockout via ranged weapons or traps. Use Bow, Crossbow, or Fabricated Sniper Rifle with Tranq Arrow or Tranquilizer Dart to sedate it.
