Variant
The Bunny Dodo reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 22°C and 30°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 49 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~15 hours and 25 minutes (1x rate), progressing over a moderate period. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~93 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~6h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~8h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Bunny Dodo gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Bunny Dodo babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~93 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Bunny Dodo babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Bunny Dodo as a herbivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Variant group.
Starting at 40 Health, it's very frail. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. With 100 base Stamina, the Bunny Dodo has limited endurance. It carries 50 base Weight - very limited carrying capacity.
The Bunny Dodo is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–30°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.01 Element plus 0 Element per level.
