Astral Argentavis is a flying carnivore in ARK: Survival Ascended, roams the ARK as a wild, untamable creature. Astral Argentavis cannot be tamed through conventional methods and is encountered with 3,600 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 12°C–13.5°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood requiring significant patience. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat more efficiently than most player tools. That combination of survivability and damage is why Astral Argentavis sits on most endgame mount shortlists.
