Found throughout the ARKs, the Allosaurus is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the DMG category.
The Allosaurus has 630 base Health - quite durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Allosaurus has respectable melee power. Stamina sits at 250 base, providing average stamina. It carries 380 base Weight - a solid weight pool.
Taming the Allosaurus requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Feed it Superior Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Allosaurus is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 26°C and 32°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 18 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.53 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
