Aberrant Dire Bear Egg & Breeding Calculator

The baby Aberrant Dire Bear takes approximately 1 day and 22 hours to fully mature at default rates - over a lengthy period. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.

Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

The hatched dinosaur, now a baby, needs constant attention and food placed directly in its inventory to survive, or a nearby Maewing to take care of its needs.
Juvenile

18:31:06
The dinosaur reaches the juvenile stage, where it can now eat from a feeding trough, reducing the need for direct feeding.

23:08:53
The dinosaur reaches the adolescent stage, becoming more independent and able to follow you while continuing to grow toward full maturity.

Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~278 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~23h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Aberrant Dire Bear gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Aberrant Dire Bear raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. Expect ~278 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.

Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Aberrant Dire Bear babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

The Aberrant Dire Bear, a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. It falls within the Variant classification.

At 384 base HP, the Aberrant Dire Bear is reasonably durable. With 106% base Melee Damage, the Aberrant Dire Bear has solid damage output. Stamina sits at 500 base, providing good endurance. Weight capacity starts at 650, giving it massive inventory space.
