Aberrant Diplodocus
Survivors looking at Aberrant Diplodocus in ARK: Survival Ascended will find a land-based herbivore that pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. Tamed via passive taming (Regular Kibble is the optimal food), this herbivore enters service with 800 base Weight, providing excellent carrying capacity. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 26°C–29°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat at much higher rates than hand tools. Players target Aberrant Diplodocus once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
