It provides significant weight reduction for inventory resources, making it a valuable pack animal for long expeditions. The creature can be airlifted by Quetzal or Tusoteuthis for fast deployment across difficult terrain.

Taming an Aberrant Carbonemys requires a knockout method. Use a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow with Tranq Arrows to sedate it. Immobilize the creature first using a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, or Large Bear Trap to prevent escape. The best food is Regular Kibble, which provides the fastest taming effectiveness.
