Overview

How it plays

Corrupt an enemy and make them fight for your side. Corruption is the Voodoo school's control spell and one of the weirder tools in the game - the affected enemy fights for you, which means you've temporarily gained a free combatant.

Strategy

Use it on the toughest enemy in a group. A corrupted elite or special attacking its own faction deals significant damage while drawing return fire from its former allies. In tight spaces where enemies cluster, a single corrupted special can clear the room before the spell expires.

Strengths

Turns the strongest enemy in a group into a temporary ally
35 second cooldown, short for a control spell

Weaknesses

Effect expires - corrupted enemy returns to hostile after duration
Less useful when every enemy in the group is roughly equal in strength
