Deviation O-036 is a decrepit mechanical toy monkey with a height of 50 centimeters and a weight of 8 kilograms. It is composed of a synthetic rubber exterior surrounding a metal frame, and its moving parts are articulated with universal joints. O-036 appears to be missing its left eye and several teeth and wears red-and-yellow striped pants and a conical party hat. It also wields a pair of cymbals.

O-036 possesses sentience, but is either unwilling or unable to speak, and also refuses to communicate in any other way. Most of the time, it stands poised and ready to play its cymbals (designated O-036-A). O-036-A is extremely hard, and will not produce any sound unless clashed by O-036.

O-036's primary Deviation Trait is its aural cognito-effect. When or more sources of sound exceeding decibels are within 15 feet of O-036, it will start moving autonomously, shaking its upper body and clashing O-036-A to a specific beat. Any humans who hear this beat will initially experience euphoria, a "morale boost," and "improved workability." As O-036-A continues to play, however, these subjects start to discern a masculine, clown-like voice amidst the monotonous clanging. This voice encourages them to in a flat, emotionless tone.

If not separated from O-036 in due time, subjects will enter a state of hysteria within 5 to 12 minutes and will proceed to use any available means to attack O-036 until it can no longer produce any sound. In such cases, O-036 will not attempt to resist or escape but will continue to clash with O-036-A until it is rendered physically incapable of doing so.

O-036 is capable of repairing any damage it sustains over a period of at least 48 hours. Any broken fragments will automatically move toward the largest surviving part, align themselves in place, and reconnect appropriately. However, these repairs are typically imperfect, leaving lasting signs of damage on O-036.

In all recorded incidents, no subjects exposed to O-036's influence actually choose to , including subjects with a history of mental illness and . (Note: This appears to be a joke.) However, subjects who attack and destroy O-036 tend to develop mild to moderate violent tendencies that gradually diminish over three to twelve months, but never completely disappear.

Securement Procedures:
DO:
Secure O-036 in Grade II or higher S-Vessel. Its securement cell should be sound-insulated. Surrounding noise levels should be kept below 20 decibels.
Service O-036's securement cell using specialized silent remote-control machinery.

Secure any other sentient or sapient Deviations at O-036's securement site.
