Shoulder Pet
The Winter Drakeling is a shoulder-mounted flyer that serves as a companion pet. It is tamed through a special passive method involving a lit torch and performing in-game activities. Once tamed, it provides a unique utility presence for survivors seeking a mobile, low-impact companion.
It can be carried by flyers such as the Quetzal or Phoenix for aerial transport.
The Winter Drakeling spawns in mountain, snow, and snow-grassland biomes. It is classified as rare and appears across 16 ARK maps. Spawn density is highest in elevated, icy regions where snow cover persists year-round.
