Overview
The Vulture is a small flying carnivore that spawns in dark and arid environments. It is primarily known for its ability to gather Raw Prime Meat efficiently through its bite attack. Players often use it to farm Raw Prime Meat in areas with abundant corpses or weak creatures.
It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Argentavis for fast deployment to remote zones.
Spawn Locations
19 mapsVultures spawn in caves, dark zones, deserts, and mountainous regions. They are very common and appear across 18 ARK maps. Look for them circling near carcasses or perched in shadowed cliffs and cavern entrances.

Gathering Abilities
While mounted, the Vulture gathers resources through its bite attack. It harvests from the prime-meat category, with a 2× multiplier on Raw Prime Meat. This makes it highly effective for quickly collecting Raw Prime Meat from corpses or weak creatures without needing to dismount.
Damage Resistances
The Vulture has a strong vulnerability to Instant HurtDinos, taking +120% more damage. It is also weak to Melee DmgMetal RaidDino (+55%) and explosions (+50%). Conversely, it is highly resistant to Mining Drill Harvest damage, taking -100% (immune). Avoid using mining drills; use melee or explosive weapons instead.
