ARK: Survival Ascended features the VR Mantis as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Variant group.

The VR Mantis has 275 base Health - on the squishy side. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing moderate endurance. A base Weight of 220 means modest carrying capacity.

This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Deathworm Horn.

As a tame, the VR Mantis is a versatile tame with a balanced stat spread, useful in a variety of roles. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 35°C–38°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.79 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
