Overview
VR Lymantria is a variant creature with a herbivorous diet. It is a flyer capable of damaging thatch and wood structures. Players tame it primarily for its unique damage profile and aerial mobility in custom maps or modded scenarios.
It can be immobilized using a Bola, Chain Bola, or Bear Trap during taming procedures.
Spawn Locations
VR Lymantria does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
VR Lymantria must be knocked out before taming. The best food is Regular Kibble, providing the fastest taming effectiveness. Base Veggie is a viable alternative if kibble is unavailable.
Use a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow with Tranq Arrows to sedate it. A Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts also works. It takes approximately 42 minutes to tame at level 224 using Regular Kibble. No Narcotics are required. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Damage Resistances
VR Lymantria has a strong vulnerability to Instant HurtDinos, taking +120% more damage from such sources. It is highly resistant to fire, taking -60% less damage. Melee attacks dealing Metal Raid damage are especially dangerous, exploiting a +55% weakness. Level Health and Melee Damage to compensate.

Hitbox Multipliers
Certain body zones on VR Lymantria take increased damage. The l_tooth, r_tooth, and c_stinger1 each have a damage multiplier of 3x, making them ideal targets for efficient knockout or elimination.
