To tame a Veilwyn, crouch and sneak up on it (Ghillie Armor helps). When close enough, a claim prompt appears — interact to claim it. If spotted, it clones itself and you must wait for the clones to despawn. Once claimed, evolve it into a Solwyn (defensive, using Pristine Vulpite) or Malwyn (aggressive, using Corrupted Vulpite).

Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. At 200 base HP, the Veilwyn is on the squishy side. Its base Stamina of 260 gives it decent staying power. It carries 200 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
After taming, the Veilwyn earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Defeating one in the wild grants 18 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.04 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
