Turkey
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~93 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~6h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~8h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Turkey gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Turkey raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~93 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.
Raising multiple Turkey simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
Breeding the Turkey produces fertilized eggs that require careful temperature control. Incubation temperature must stay between 22°C and 30°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 49 minutes.
After hatching or birth, the baby Turkey matures over a moderate period, reaching adulthood in about 15 hours and 25 minutes at 1x maturation. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
The Turkey is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Ignore classification.
Stamina sits at 100 base, providing limited endurance. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. Starting at 40 Health, it's extremely fragile. Weight capacity starts at 50, giving it minimal inventory space.
The Turkey is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Base Veggie is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
As a tame, the Turkey is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–30°C temperature window. A wild Turkey is worth 0.5 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0 Element plus 0 Element per level.
