Found throughout the ARKs, the Terror Bird is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.
Stamina sits at 160 base, providing decent staying power. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Terror Bird brings decent hitting power to the table. At 270 base HP, the Terror Bird is on the squishy side. It carries 120 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
Taming the Terror Bird requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Regular Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Terror Bird earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 20°C and 28°C.
