Tek Stryder Taming Calculator
Finish enough missions that it will let you near it, then put Mutagel in your last hotbar slot. It shows you which part to use, a foot or the head, and that part throws sparks until the hack lands. A red circle appears around you when you start: keep the Stryder inside it for the whole hack. The hack itself is a rhythm game, and you have to hit every prompt in a row. One miss wipes all your progress and it fights back, and taking any damage yourself does the same, so clear the area before you begin.
How this tame works

- You have 25s from the hack point appearing, and about 12 of those are the hack animation itself, so the real slack is small. Finish inside it and the hack pays in full. Past it the payout drains, and how fast scales with the creature's level: at this one it drains 8.8 times faster than on a level 1, so hesitating on a high level costs far more.
- It has to be at least 60m from wherever the last one was tamed.

Found throughout the ARKs, the Tek Stryder is a tamable, unknown creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Farmer group.
The Tek Stryder has 4,000 base Health - one of the toughest creatures in the game. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Tek Stryder has respectable melee power. With 600 base Stamina, the Tek Stryder has exceptional endurance. A base Weight of 1250 means an enormous weight pool.
As a tame, the Tek Stryder pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0 Element plus 0 Element per level.
