Tek Stryder is a land-based unknown in ARK: Survival Ascended, pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. As an unknown, it responds to a special taming method - favoring Mutagel - and ships with 1250 base Weight, providing an enormous weight pool. Tek Stryder cannot be bred and remains a wild-only or single-instance creature for those who tame one. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Meat at much higher rates than hand tools. That combination of survivability and damage is why Tek Stryder sits on most endgame mount shortlists.
