Overview
The Tek Stegosaurus is a herbivorous variant creature designed for resource gathering and weight reduction. It reduces inventory weight of Bingleberry by 75%, making it highly efficient for berry farming operations. This dino is typically tamed to streamline large-scale harvest runs, especially when paired with aerial transport. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Tusoteuthis for rapid deployment across the map.
Spawn Locations
Tek Stegosaurus does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
Tame the Tek Stegosaurus using knockout methods. Use Regular Kibble for the fastest taming, as it provides the highest affinity. Mejoberry is a viable alternative if kibble is unavailable. Immobilize it with a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, or Large Bear Trap to prevent escape. Use ranged weapons like the Bow, Crossbow, or Fabricated Sniper Rifle with Tranq Arrows or Tranquilizer Darts to induce torpor. The process takes around 41 minutes with 32 kibble at level 150. Gathering Abilities

Weight Reduction
Reduces the weight of Bingleberry by 75%. Pair it with a Quetzal or Tusoteuthis to maintain weight reduction benefits during aerial transport.
Damage Resistances
The Tek Stegosaurus has a strong resistance to fire damage, taking 60% less from fire-based attacks. It is highly vulnerable to spike walls, which deal 200% additional damage. Explosions and certain melee attacks also exploit significant weaknesses. Avoid placing it in spike-heavy defenses. Focus on Health and Melee Damage for tanking roles.
