The Shinehorn is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Shoulder Pet category.
Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Health-wise, the Shinehorn sits at 115 base, making it glass-cannon fragile. With 180 base Stamina, the Shinehorn has decent staying power. A base Weight of 100 means average weight tolerance.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Plant Species Z Seed.
As a tame, the Shinehorn earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.05 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
