Variant
The Revenant Dilophosaur is a rare carnivorous variant found in corrupted zones. It can be airlifted by Argentavis, Desmodus, Griffin, Karkinos, Megalosaurus, Tropeognathus, Kaprosuchus, Procoptodon, Pteranodon, Quetzal, Tapejara, or Tusoteuthis for rapid deployment. This makes it useful for targeted strikes in high-risk areas where fast insertion and extraction are critical.
The Revenant Dilophosaur spawns exclusively in corrupted biomes. It is very rare and appears on only 2 ARK maps. Look for it in high-density spawn zones, typically deep within corrupted regions where environmental hazards are present.

The Revenant Dilophosaur cannot be tamed.
Revenant Dilophosaur is not tamable.
Killing a Revenant Dilophosaur yields Hide and Raw Meat. The Hatchet yields the most Hide, while the Pick maximizes Raw Meat harvest.
Estimates based on game-extracted data (weights, quantities, harvest multipliers, damage type chains). Each harvest event independently rolls each resource - higher weight = higher drop chance. Actual yields vary with RNG.
The Revenant Dilophosaur has a +120% weakness to Instant HurtDinos, meaning it takes significantly more damage from instant-hit sources like explosives or certain traps. It is also highly vulnerable to explosion-based demolition and melee attacks with the DoubleDinoDmg flag. Conversely, it is highly resistant to mining drills, spike walls, and ranged turret fire, taking reduced damage from these sources.

The Revenant Dilophosaur has a head hitbox multiplier of 3x, meaning attacks landing on the head deal triple damage. This makes precise aiming highly effective for both combat and knockout attempts.

The Revenant Dilophosaur has a head hitbox multiplier of 3x, making headshots highly effective for faster knockouts. It takes +120% more damage from instant-hit attacks, making it vulnerable to explosives and certain traps. It is immune to damage from mining drills due to 100% resistance. It can be immobilized using a Bola or Bear Trap during combat or taming attempts. Despite being untamable, it can still be carried by flyers like Quetzal or Karkinos. It takes +55% more damage from metal-based melee attacks, making such weapons effective in combat.
