The R-Procoptodon gives live birth after mating, skipping the egg-incubation step entirely. Gestation takes approximately 3 hours and 58 minutes at default rates.

Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~1 day and 22 hours (1x rate), progressing over a lengthy period. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.

The R-Procoptodon's growth progresses through three stages: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~278 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~23h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the R-Procoptodon gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. Keep various kibble types on hand, as imprint requests are randomized between cuddles, walks, and kibble feeding.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

The R-Procoptodon is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.

Melee starts at 105% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. The R-Procoptodon has 388 base Health - reasonably durable. Its base Stamina of 350 gives it solid stamina reserves. It carries 550 base Weight - an enormous weight pool.

The R-Procoptodon is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Rare Mushroom for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

After taming, the R-Procoptodon combines solid harvesting capability with generous carrying capacity. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.31 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
