Pteranodon Taming Calculator

Required Narcotics
Below are the narcotic requirements for keeping the Pteranodon sedated throughout taming. Narcotics provide 40 Torpor each and are the standard choice. Bio Toxin offers 80 Torpor but is harder to farm. Narcoberries at 7.5 each are a last resort. The Pteranodon bleeds 0.3 Torpor/s, so keep a close eye on the bar and sedate early.

As a tame, the Pteranodon is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 29°C–32°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 3 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.79 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
