The Pteranodon is a knockout tame - render it unconscious with torpor weapons like Tranq Arrows or Shocking Tranq Darts, then feed it while it's down. Torpor bleeds at 0.1/s, requiring regular sedative application to prevent a premature wakeup.

Required Narcotics
Below are the narcotic requirements for keeping the Pteranodon sedated throughout taming. Narcotics provide 40 Torpor each and are the standard choice. Bio Toxin offers 80 Torpor but is harder to farm. Narcoberries at 7.5 each are a last resort. The Pteranodon bleeds 0.1 Torpor/s, so keep a close eye on the bar and sedate early.
Starve & Torpor Timers
