Pachy
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~159 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~11h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~13h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Pachy gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Pachy babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~159 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Pachy babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Pachy reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 24°C and 28°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~1 day and 2 hours (1x rate), progressing requiring significant patience. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Pachy is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.
With 100% base Melee Damage, the Pachy has solid damage output. Health-wise, the Pachy sits at 165 base, making it on the squishy side. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing moderate endurance. A base Weight of 150 means a reasonable inventory size.
Taming the Pachy requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Simple Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
As a tame, the Pachy is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 24°C and 28°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.12 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
