Planning a mass raise? The Nunatak (Beta) raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. Expect ~556 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Nunatak (Beta) babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The baby Nunatak (Beta) takes approximately 3 days and 20 hours to fully mature at default rates - over many real-world days, demanding serious time investment. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby Nunatak (Beta) involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Nunatak (Beta) gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
The Nunatak (Beta) is one of ARK: Survival Ascended's boss creatures, fought in its own arena with a prepared team. Classified under the Boss group.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Nunatak (Beta) brings decent hitting power to the table. At 950,000 base HP, the Nunatak (Beta) is extraordinarily tanky. Its base Stamina of 2500 gives it outstanding staying power. A base Weight of 4000 means excellent carrying capacity.
Once tamed, the Nunatak (Beta) guards its arena fiercely - come prepared with your best creatures and gear. Killing a wild Nunatak (Beta) yields 3000 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.82 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
