Mammoth Overview
Survivors looking at Mammoth in ARK: Survival Ascended will find a land-based herbivore that is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Tamed via knockout taming (Superior Kibble is the optimal food), this herbivore enters service with 500 base Weight, providing an enormous weight pool. It gives live birth after a gestation period, with offspring maturing at a glacially slow pace - plan for a multi-day commitment. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat and other materials more efficiently than most player tools. Players target Mammoth once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
