Kalydonios
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Kalydonios gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Kalydonios babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~292 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Kalydonios babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
Instead of laying eggs, the Kalydonios carries its young through a gestation period. Gestation takes approximately 8 hours at default rates.
The baby Kalydonios takes approximately 2 days to fully mature at default rates - requiring significant patience. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
In ARK: Survival Ascended, the Kalydonios is a boss-tier enemy encountered during an arena battle. Classified under the Boss group.
Health-wise, the Kalydonios sits at 900 base, making it quite durable. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Kalydonios brings solid damage output to the table. Its base Stamina of 250 gives it moderate endurance. A base Weight of 400 means generous inventory space.
As a tame, the Kalydonios is a powerful boss creature encountered in a dedicated arena fight. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Killing a wild Kalydonios yields 1500 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0 Element per level.
