The Hover Skiff is a crafted flying mount designed for efficient cargo transport. It features a unique weight reduction system that makes it ideal for hauling large quantities of resources across long distances. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Argentavis for fast deployment.
Players typically tame the Hover Skiff to serve as a mobile supply carrier, especially when paired with high-capacity flyers for resource runs.
Spawn Locations
Hover Skiff does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
Taming
The Hover Skiff is tamed via crafting, requiring no knockout or passive feeding. It must be immobilized first using a Bear Trap or Large Bear Trap. Plant Species Y can also be used to immobilize it. Once immobilized, interact to begin the crafting-based taming process.
