Grendel Overview
In ARK: Survival Ascended, Grendel is an arena-bound boss creature that puts a tribe's tames, gear, and tactics to a serious test. Grendel cannot be tamed through normal means and engages survivors with 100,000 base Health - extraordinarily tanky. It gives live birth after a gestation period, with offspring maturing over a lengthy period. Its high carrying capacity turns base-to-base resource hauls and farming runs into single-trip jobs. Beating it is a milestone unlock, gating tek progression for the tribes that can pull it off.

Grendel does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
