The Grendel (Alpha) is a boss creature in ARK: Survival Ascended that must be fought in a dedicated arena. It belongs to the Boss category.
At 600,000 base HP, the Grendel (Alpha) is one of the toughest creatures in the game. Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. Stamina sits at 3500 base, providing outstanding staying power. Weight capacity starts at 1000, giving it an enormous weight pool.
After taming, the Grendel (Alpha) guards its arena fiercely - come prepared with your best creatures and gear. A wild Grendel (Alpha) is worth 1500 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.26 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
