The Gigantopithecus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Regular Kibble.
Once tamed, the Gigantopithecus earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward.
