Featherlight
Survivors looking at Featherlight in ARK: Survival Ascended will find a flying carnivore that is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. Tamed via passive taming (Plant Species Z Seed is the optimal food), this carnivore enters service with 100% base Melee Damage, giving it solid damage output. Breeding pairs lay fertilized eggs requiring 29°C–32°C incubation, after which juveniles reach adulthood slowly. Survivors lean on it to gather Hide, Raw Meat at much higher rates than hand tools. Players target Featherlight once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
Found across 11 maps in mountains, cliffsides, and elevated terrain. Green zones have the highest spawn density. Each species has a population cap per area, so wiping out other creatures nearby can trigger new Featherlight spawns.
