Deinotherium
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~1111 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~74h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~93h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Deinotherium gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Deinotherium raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~1111 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.
Raising multiple Deinotherium simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
Instead of laying eggs, the Deinotherium carries its young through a gestation period. Gestation takes approximately 8 hours at default rates.
After hatching or birth, the baby Deinotherium matures over many real-world days, demanding serious time investment, reaching adulthood in about 7 days and 17 hours at 1x maturation. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Deinotherium is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Support category.
The Deinotherium has 1,750 base Health - extremely durable. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Deinotherium brings respectable melee power to the table. With 450 base Stamina, the Deinotherium has good endurance. It carries 800 base Weight - massive inventory space.
As a tame, the Deinotherium pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.63 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
