Found throughout the ARKs, the Basilosaurus is a tamable, aquatic, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Soaker group.
At 2,400 base HP, the Basilosaurus is a proper tank. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Basilosaurus brings decent hitting power to the table. Stamina sits at 300 base, providing average stamina. Weight capacity starts at 700, giving it excellent carrying capacity.
The Basilosaurus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Exceptional Kibble.
Once tamed, the Basilosaurus provides safe and efficient underwater traversal with good utility. Defeating one in the wild grants 15 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.75 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
