Instead of laying eggs, the Aberrant Paraceratherium carries its young through a gestation period. Gestation takes approximately 8 hours at default rates.

The baby Aberrant Paraceratherium takes approximately 3 days and 20 hours to fully mature at default rates - over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.

Raising a baby Aberrant Paraceratherium involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

The Aberrant Paraceratherium is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Variant group.

With 300 base Stamina, the Aberrant Paraceratherium has decent staying power. Melee starts at 106% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. With 985 base Health, the Aberrant Paraceratherium is impressively tough. It carries 850 base Weight - massive inventory space.

The Aberrant Paraceratherium is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. For best results, use Superior Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Aberrant Paraceratherium is a practical workhorse - it can both gather and haul resources efficiently. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Defeating one in the wild grants 12 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.66 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
